Todd J. Broms, co-founder and Chief
Executive Officer having over thirty years of experience in senior
level management, corporate finance, merchant banking and advisory
services with an emphasis on financial services, technology, energy,
and emerging growth businesses. Mr. Broms is considered a recognized
expert on open-end exchange traded funds.
In early 2005, he co-founded, and currently serves as Managing Member of Managed ETFsTM
LLC, formed to develop a superior structure and efficient investment
process for commercialization of true actively managed exchange-traded
funds and improved index ETFs. With the approval from the SEC, for the
first time the largely in-kind creation and redemption process used by
ETFs will provide the economic advantages of superior shareholder
protection and tax efficiency for actively managed fund portfolios
serving to revolutionize the fund sector.
Mr. Broms has both
advised and served as senior executive officer of both public and
privately held companies providing value added services to
institutional and private shareholders, and senior management teams. He
has significant expertise in financial engineering having successfully
originated and structured debt and equity financings in excess of $1.2
billion. His operating experience includes management of corporate
governance in regulated environments.

John C. Mankins, co-founder and Chief
Operating Officer, is an internationally recognized expert in the
fields of space systems innovation, and major technology research &
development program management, and human and robotic space
exploration. He has special expertise in the areas of space solar
power, advanced robotics, reusable space transportation.
From
1990 through 2005, Mr. Mankins served in several executive management
responsibilities at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
(NASA). When he became the Manager of Exploration Systems Research and
Technology, Mr. Mankins was responsible for leading and managing an
$800 million per year R&D program. His responsibilities included
flight projects and mission operations, systems-level innovation and
advanced technology, and other program management roles. He is a
co-creator of the widely used “technology readiness level” (TRL) scale
for technology assessment. From 1980 until joining NASA Headquarters,
he served in a variety of engineering, systems analysis, and management
positions at CalTech’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Mr. Mankins
has testified before Congress on several occasions, and has consulted
on both R&D management and space issues for the General Accounting
Office, the Office of the Chief Technologist of the U.S. Navy, the U.S.
National Security Space Architect, and Japan’s Ministry of Economy,
Trade and Industry (METI). Recently he was the first recipient of the
prestigious NASA Exceptional Technology Achievement Medal and was named
by SpaceNews as one of the “100 People Who Made A Difference In Space”.

World-Class Strategic Advisors
The Company plans to have a Board of Strategic Advisors comprising senior level energy and technology executives. We are currently holding discussions with several leading experts and subject to finalizing arrangements with each, these advisors will regularly counsel management with regard to technologies, strategy, investment outlook, and risk mitigation. The Board will provide strategic oversight of our technology R&D and commercialization efforts.
